BBy “Ergonomic Product Certification”
we mean a product qualification issued by a third and independent party, which verifies and certifies that the products under evaluation comply with some specific ergonomic requirements (as regards the 3 ergonomics macro-areas: Polytechnical, Biomedical, User-experience/Usability), generally contained in international standards or other regulatory instruments.
ErgoCert developed several Technical Specifications in order to certify the following products:
- professional products (D001-DTA)
- consumer products (D002-DTA)
The Customer can ask for the product compliance evaluation in relation to one or more ergonomic areas and, if the evaluation outcomes are positive, the certification may be issued as follows:
According to the obtained level of certification, as well as provided by the “Regulation for ErgoCert trademark use” (D001-CEP), one of the following trademarks can be used:
